About Lucas
Movement practitioner
Lucas Pulley is one of the central operational figures in the North American microchurch movement. For 14+ years he has planted and directed decentralized networks of grassroots churches, first in Carbondale, Illinois, and then — and still — in Tampa, Florida, where he succeeded Brian Sanders as the lead executive of the Underground Network and now (as of 2025–26) sits on the Executive Team as **Movements Director** of Underground Network's translocal arm, supporting the 100+ microchurches in Tampa Bay and dozens of sister movements around the world. He continues to pastor a neighborhood house church inside Tampa's inner-city subsidized housing projects with his wife Jami and their three kids.
